Search continues for girl washed away in Vizag drain

Visakhapatnam, Sept 26: Police, civic officials and local residents continue to search for the six-year-old girl Athidhi, who accidentally fell into a stormwater drain in HB Colony here on Thursday. Meanwhile, the district authorities had extended the search for another 30 hours and also requested the Indian Navy to help in the search for the missing girl. They were asked to depute divers and a helicopter to scout the sea. It may be mentioned here that the stormwater drain leads to the sea. Athidhi is a Class I student of Timpany School.
