Jagan refuses to shift protest venue in Guntur
Hyderabad, Sept 24: YSRCP president and leader of the opposition party in the legislative assembly YS Jaganmohan Reddy today declared that he will go ahead with the indefinite hunger strike at Guntur on September 26 at any cost.
Jagan is taking up the hunger strike in protest against the delay in declaring the special status to Andhra Pradesh state.
He also declared that there is no question of shifting the venue of the hunger strike.
It may be recalled that Guntur Superintendent of Police had refused to give permission to YSRCP to organise the hunger strike on grounds that the event could cause traffic chaos in the town.
