Villagers attack police for obstructing obscene dance programme

Hyderabad, Sept 21: Villagers in Prakasham district late on Sunday night attacked local police personnel for obstructing obscene recording dance programme. A Sub-Inspector of Police and a Home guard were seriously injured in the incident. The incident took place at Pakalapalle village in Singarayakonda mandal of Prakasham district. On coming to know of the incident, higher officials in the police and revenue departments rushed to the village and immediately ordered an inquiry. Meanwhile, taking objection to the police raid on the obscene recording dance programme, the villagers have gone on a protest.
