Byreddy launches 'Jala Deeksha' in Delhi

Delhi, Sep 09: Former MLA and Rayalaseema Parirakshana Samithi (RPS) president Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy today launched 'Jala Deeksha' under the aegis of Rayalaseema Jala Sadhana Samithi at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. Byreddy launched the protest seeking rightful share of river water to Rayalaseema districts. Elected representatives from Rayalaseema participated in the protest. Byreddy lashed out at successive governments in the state for meting out injustice to Rayalaseema region in river water allocation and other issues. They demanded the Centre to protect the interests of Rayalaseema region and to ensure justice in river water allocation.
