Special status claims another life

Kurnool, Aug 28: Special status to the state claimed another life today. Depressed over the uncertainty on special status to AP, a person died of heart attack at Kurnool. The victim Lokesh actively participated in protests for special status. Yesterday, he participated in protests organised by Pratyekha Hoda Sadhana Samakhya and laid siege to the BJP office in the city. Lokesh discussed the issue with his friends and he debated on the losses to be incurred by the state if Centre rules out special status. Lokesh was reportedly depressed over the issue. He suffered a heart attack this morning and died on the way to hospital. Cutting across political lines, leaders appealed to the people not to take extreme step.
