PIL filed on compensation to Polavaram oustees

Hyderabad, August 24: A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in High Court today over the compensation to the Polavaram oustees. The petitioners requested that compensation should be paid as per 2013 rehabilitation act. Challenging this PIL, the Andhra Pradesh government filed a counter in High Court. The Court directed the government to file a counter within four weeks with all details regarding the case. The High Court also directed the Polavaram Authority and the Central government to file counter cases.
