Dilsukhnagar blasts case trial starts at Cherlapally jail

Hyderabad, August 24: The trial of Yasin Bhatkal, accused in Dilsukhnagar blasts, started today at a special court inside the Central prison of Cherlapally. Along with him, five others accused in the case were also produced in the special court. Following the request made by the police, the High Court gave permission to them to hold the trial of Bhatkal inside the prison premises. Yasin Bhatkal, the co-founder of Indian Mujahideen was accused in the Dilsukhnagar twin blasts that occurred on February 21 this year. 18 persons were killed in the blast and many others injured. Police considered to conduct Bhatkal's trial inside the prison premises as he created suspicion and panic by throwing a few papers in the court premises earlier.
