AP bars five-star stays for Ministers
Vijayawada, Aug 14: The Andrha Pradesh government has barred the Ministers from staying at five-star hotels.
Speaking to the media here, Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that the government has barred the Ministers from staying at five-star hotels in view of the precarious financial position of the state.
Ramakrishnudu said that the government would carry repairs to all the guest houses in Guntur on war footing to use them as Ministers quarters. He asked the Ministers to use guest houses for conducting meetings.
The Minister said that HUDCO came forward to construct 10,000 houses in the capital region. He said the Jawahar Reddy Committee would identify buildings for offices and employees. Entire administration would be shifted to Vijayawada within two months, he added.
