KCR failed to stop illegal projects: TTDP
Hyderabad, Aug 12: The Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TTDP) state president L Ramana alleged that Chief Minister K Chandashekar failed to stop construction of illegal irrigation projects by Karnataka and Maharashtra.
Speaking to the media here, Ramana and TTDLP leader Errabellli Dayakar Rao have said that KCR was concentrating on cash-for-vote case and neglecting irrigation projects. The Telangana government is wasting time in criticising AP instead of stopping the illegal projects of the neighbouring states.
They reminded that TDP stopped Karnataka government from raising height of Almatti project and waged legal war to stop Babli Project in Maharashtra. They expressed concern that Telangana would be deprived of water if Karnataka raises Almatti project's height.
