Sitaram Yechury pledges support to Jagan's deeksha
Delhi, Aug 10: CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury has pledged full support to YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy's deeksha for special status to AP. Yechuri visited the protest venue at Jantar Mantar and pledged support to Jagan. Yechuri said that CPM would support all the demands of YSRCP on the issue. He reminded that CPM opposed bifurcation as it would lead to new problems. BJP assured to accord special status to AP when they are in opposition. But after coming to power, the party has not initiated efforts to resolve the issue, he added. Yechury said that CPM would protest for special status both inside and outside the Parliament.
