HC refuses to relax bail norms for Revanth
Hyderabad, July 31: The Hyderabad High Court refused to relax the bail conditions imposed on TDP MLA Revanth Reddy, the main accused in cash-for-vote scam.
It may be noted that court granted bail to Revanth Reddy on the condition that he confines himself to his Kondangal Assembly segment in Mahabubnagar district.
The court yesterday heard arguments in the petition filed by Revanth seeking relaxation of bail norms. Revanth's counsel argued that the petitioner being a senior leader in TDP, has to attend to party meetings in Hyderabad.
The Judge suggested Revanth either to withdraw his plea or to file a fresh plea. Accordingly, Revanth's counsel withdrew the petition. Similar petitions filed by Sebastian and Uday Simha were adjourned to Monday.
