Chandrababu convenes meeting of party MPs

Vijayawada, July 17: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today convened a meeting of the party MPs at Gateway hotel in Vijayawada. The meeting was intended to discuss the party strategy to be adopted during the upcoming monsoon session of Parliament. According to reports, the meeting would finalise the party stand on proposed amendments to Land Bill. Besides this special status and financial assistance to the state will also come up for discussion in the meet. The meeting assumed significance in the wake of cine actor and Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan’s allegations that TDP MPs were more concerned about their personal businesses rather thang fighting for special status to AP.
