'Alone at house. pl come' Jharkhand police gets fake calls

Hyderabad, July 16: Public generally gets fake calls. And they complain to police. What if police themselves get fake and mischievous calls? Where should they go? This is what is happening to Jharkhand police. They got 3,600 fake calls in just one week. The officials said most of the calls that come to the emergency number '100' were fake. In-charge traffic SP N Kartik said after checking they came to know that 3,600 calls of the total calls on emergency number were fake. Some of these calls were like - 'I am alone at house. Please come'. 'I am bored. Talk to me'. 'My children are crying. Come and look after them'. Kartik said, "We have noted down the numbers of fake calls. After conducting an inquiry, we will first warn them. If they continue, an FIR would be lodged and strict action would be taken against them." He said misusing the phone number meant for emergency purpose is also a crime.
