AU bags best research varsity award

Visakhapatnam/Hyderabad, July 16: Andhra University (AU), Visakhapatnam has been selected as the best university in the country, for encouraging research in higher education and doctorate topics. Gujarat Technical University and Communication Multi Media and Infrastructure have jointly selected the AU for the award. University Vice-Chancellor Prof. GSN Raju will receive the award at the Afro-Asian Conference to be held in Ahmadabad tomorrow. This award is called as Teaching Education Excellence Award. Eight Ambassadors of Asia and Africa countries would attend the award function. VC Raju said it is a great honour and pride for the Andhra University to bag this award, which had already ranked second in national level government universities and stands at 151th place in international level.
