Boarding pass to Lord Balaji

Hyderabad, July 15: Lord Venkateswara Swamy also got a boarding pass. Is it unbelievable? But it is true. Lord Venkateshwara along with His Consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi traveled by air from Washington DC to Dallas on July 11. It was during this flight, the Lord, along with His Consorts was issued boarding pass. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), along with local organisations has been conducting Srinivasa Kalyanotsavalu at various places in America from July 1. For this purpose, TTD Chairman Chadalawada Krishna Murthy, JEO Pola Bhaskar, priests and officials took the the idols of Lord Malayappa Swamy and Sridevi and Bhudevi to America. The TTD officials, after the programme at Washington DC on July 10, had to go to Dallas on July 11 along with processional deities of Lord Malayappa Swamy and His Consorts. As there was no time to shift the idols by road, the officials thought of going by flight. As per Agama Sastras, the deities for whom pujas are being performed should be not be closed in a box. As there was no other go, the officials took three boarding passes for the deities to place on three seats.
