KCR convenes meet with ACB DG, Home Secretary
Hyderabad, July 9: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today convened a high-level meeting with Home Secretary Rajeev Dwivedi and Anti-Corruption Bureau DG AK Khan. The meeting was held at the CM’s camp office here.
Sources said that KCR discussed about the progress of investigation in cash-for-vote scam. Besides this, KCR asked AK Khan to supervise arrangements for Iftar party scheduled to be held at Nizam College on July 12.
The meeting assumed significance as ACB took TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah into custody and intensified search for Jimmy Babu. It may be noted that KCR and Chandrababu are making counter accusations against each other.
