Non-bailable cases against Denduluru MLA

Nuzividu/Hyderabad, July 9: Non-bailable cases under sections 353, 334 and 379 were registered on Thursday against West Godavari district Denduluru TDP MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar, his gunmen and another 52 persons. Following the complaint of Musunuru (Krishna district) MRO Vanajakshi on Wednesday, Musunuru police filed the case. Coming to know about the illegal sand mining activity going on at Rangampet sand reaches in Musunuru mandal, Nuzividu taluka (Krishna district) on Wednesday, MRO Vanajakshi and her staff questioned the persons who were digging the sand. Denduluru MLA and government whip Chintamaneni Prabhakar became furious and attacked her with his followers. Six women who accompanied the MLA also attacked the MRO and scratched her face with nails. His gunmen also attacked the MRO. The MLA took away 25 trucks of sand and proclainers. Later, MRO Vanajakshi filed a case at Musunuru police station that MLA and his followers attacked her, RI, three VROs and computer operators. Meanwhile, Revenue staff and unions were taking the attack on the MRO very seriously. According to sources, they are considering to boycott Godavari Pushkralu, Polavaram and Pattiseema projects if AP government fails to take proper action against the MLA.
