Vehicle in Prez's convoy met with accident

Hyderabad, July 1: One of the vehicles in the President's convoy going to Tirumala met with an accident on Wednesday. A vehicle collided with the road divider near Alipiri and stopped. Police removed the vehicle with the help of a crane and resumed the convoy to Tirumala hills. President Pranab Mukherjee reached Renigunta airport at around 10.40 am and went to Tiruchanur. He offered prayers to Goddess Padmavathi Ammavaru and later, performed special pujas at Kapileswara Swami at Kapilteertham near Tirupati. From there he left for Tirumala. After having Lord Venkateswara Swamy darshan, the President will return to Hyderabad.
