Babli project was started during KCR’s tenure as Union Minister: T TDP

Hyderabad, June 15: Telangana TDP alleged that Maharashtra government has started the construction of Babli irrigation project during Chief Minister KCR’s tenure as Union Minister. Speaking to the media here, the party leader E Dayakar Rao, L Ramana and R Chandrashekar Reddy alleged that the TRS government was starting new irrigation projects for the sake of commissions. The TDP leaders demanded the government to release a whitepaper on the status of pending and new irrigation projects in the State. They urged the government to allocate funds for the pending projects which can be completed within a year. They flayed the government for stating that irrigation projects works were stalled due to TDP.
