<strong>Friend shoots Indian doctor in Texas<strong>

Texas, June 15: Renowned Indian-American cardiologist Dr. Suresh Gadasalli (53) was shot dead by his friend-patient-business partner, Ayyaswamy Tangam (60), in Texas state on Thursday. According to eye witnesses, Ayyaswamy went into the patient examination room at Healthy Heart Centre in Odessa of Texas State and closed the door. They heard bullet shots. Ayyaswamy reportedly shot at Dr. Suresh, who died on the spot. Later, Ayyaswamy also committed suicide bu shooting himself dead. Dr. Suresh, native of Bengaluru in Karnataka State, completed medicine in India and completed postgraduation abroad in cardiology. He leaves behind wife Arathi and two children, Sanjay and Divya. Family members informed that the final rites will be held in Odessa Wednesday (June 17). Lakhs of Indian community and patients were shocked to hear the news as Dr. Suresh was a very caring and a great philanthropist. Police are yet to establish a motive behind the twin killings and filed a case.
