25 killed as high tension wire falls on bus

Jaipur, June 12: Twenty five persons of a marriage party were burnt alive and 30 others injured when a high tension electricity wire fell on the bus in which they were travelling at Tonk district in Rajasthan today. The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby government hospital. The villagers alleged that the accident occurred due to negligence of officials. People from nearby villages rushed to accident site and took part in rescue operations. According to locals, within seconds fire engulfed the bus leaving no time for the passengers to escape.
