Disha Patani to make Telugu debut in Puri Jagannadh's film

Chennai, June 12: Model-turned-actress Disha Patani will be making her Telugu debut in filmmaker Puri Jagannadh's yet-untitled next directorial with Varun Tej. The film will go on the floors later this month. "Disha has been finalised as the heroine. Puri saw her photographs during his recent visit to Mumbai and felt she'd be suitable for his new film. She's expected to join the sets soon," a source told IANS. According to the source, Disha was originally paired with actor Nithiin Reddy, who walked out of the project for reasons unknown. "After Nithiin disassociated himself from the project, Puri replaced him with Varun and paired him with Disha," the source added. The project is mostly likely to go on floors next week.
