Bhumi Puja rituals for AP Capital city to commence at 3 a.m on June 6

Hyderabad, June 5 ,2015: On behalf of the Government of AP, a 9-member team of renowned Vedic scholars will launch religious ceremonies at Mandadam in Guntur district at 3 a.m on Saturday ahead of the scheduled Bhumi Puja at 8.49 a.m. Muhurt for the capital city of the state. The Vedic pundits will conduct necessary Homams and Santi Pujas amid recitation of Vedic hymns. The will invoke God's blessings for the successful conduct of the Bhumi Puja and also for the successful construction of the capital city. After the rituals, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and his wife Bhuvaneswari will participate in the Bhumi Puja at 8:49 a.m. The ceremonies will be attended by several ministers , MLAs and top officials.
