AP Min Peetala Sujata in trouble as TDP MLAs refuse to back her

Veeravasaram (WG), June 4 , 2015: TDP, which has bruised its face in Telangana with the involvement of its MLA Revanth Reddy in the cash for vote scam, is also facing trouble in Andhra Pradesh with the cash bag episode involving Minister Peetala Sujata. A vernacular daily has reported that , despite the Minister denying her role in the finding of bag containing Rs. 10 lakh cash in her house, TDP MLAs in the district are maintaining a stoic silence over the episode and are not willing to back her. The daily also reported that the minister is in soup with the news spreading that somebody had video recorded her father Babji taking money from one Vishnuvati. Observing that somebody had video recorded him accepting the money from Vishnuvati, Babji had created a scene suddenly throwing away the bag containing money and then lodged a police complaint. The report also said that some TDP leaders, who have recorded the video, had already sent a CD of the footage to Chief Minister Chandrababu. The daily said that Vishnuvati, a former employee of the social welfare department, knows the minister very well and has entered into a deal with her to get a job to her adopted daughter by paying an amount of Rs. 10 lakh. The minister's father , also a TDP functionary in the party's SC cell, generally looks after the minister's deals , said the daily, adding , that he tried to take the money in the absence of the minister.
