Actor Jayaprakash Reddy: If need be, I will leave Tollywood but not Theatre

Rajahmundry, May 17 , 2015: Well known comedian and character actor Jayaprakash Reddy said here today that he would never leave the theatre, which is like a mother to him. "If necessary, I will leave the cinema field but I will never leave the theatre. It is like a mother to me," he told a news daily here on the sidelines of the Nandi Natakotsavam. Jayaprakasha Reddy and several other Tollywood artistes , who hail from the theatre background, arrived here to participate in the Nandi Natakotsavam that got off to a colorful start here on Saturday. The 15-day fete is being held at the NTR Kalapranganam at Rajahmundry. He said there are several modern techniques to be used in the stage shows but Telugu Drama is neglecting them, he said, adding Nandi Natakotsavams should be conducted more frequently in all the districts.
