RTC's plans to run services fall flat as employees fight temparary job seekers

Hyderabad, May 6 , 2015: Even as AP and Telangana Governments ordered RTC managements to make alternative arrangements to run the services, the striking employees ran into arguments with youngsters who came to RTC depots at some places seeing temporary employment as conductors and drivers in both Telugu states. At Vijayawada in AP and at Hanumakonda in Telangana, the striking employees have warned the temporary job seekers not to play into the hands of RTC management. There was mild tension as the jobseekers turned up in good numbers at several depots and expressed their willingness to take up duties to run the bus services. Earlier, AP chief minister Chandrababu has asked the transport minister Siddha Raghava Rao and RTC officials to make alternate arrangements to run the bus services.
