Hanuman temple at Avanigadda collapses

Avanigadda, April 21, 2015: Anjaneya Swamy temple built at the Vantena Centre in Avanigadda has collapsed all of a sudden Monday night. The temple was built on the the banks of the main irrigation canal here and delta modernisation works are in progress. Last night, water was released to the canal all of a sudden resulting in the collapse of the temple. The deity of Lord Hanuma has also become part of the debris. Reports said the contractor, who built the temple, came forward to build it again with his own money.
