KCR unanimously re-elected TRS President

Hyderabad, April 20, 2015: Telangana Chief Minister and TRS President K. Chandrasekhara Rao has been re-elected President of the party unopposed. In the elections held to the president of TRS, six sets of nominations were filed on behalf of KCR when the deadline ended today. "There were no other nominations when the deadline ended," said Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy who officiated as Returning Officer for the election of the Party President. While deputy chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari proposed KCR name, six other ministers seconded his candidature for the post of TRS president.
