KCR orders Rs.5 lakh ex-gratia each for rain victim families

Hyderabad, April 13, 2015: Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao has directed officials to pay an ex-gratia of Rs.5 lakh to each of the families of those killed in the untimely rains that lashed Telangana districts in the last two days. KCR reviewed the situation caused by the sudden rains at a high level meeting this morning at the Secretariat. Asking the officials to send him reports district wise on the loss of property and life caused by the unseasonal rains , KCR has advised officials to behave with a humanistic approach towards the victim families. "You should take steps to help those who lost crops and livestock due to the untimely rains, " he told the senior officials present.
