AP police arrest 132 TN red sanders wood cutters

Nellore, April 12, 2015: Six days after the controversial Seshachalam encounter, AP special police teams have arrested 132 illegal red sander wood cutters in the Nellore-Kadapa district boarder this morning. Reports said the workers from Tamil Nadu, who have escaped the police net on Tuesday when 20 woodcutters were killed in a fierce encounter in the thick Seshachalam forests near Tirupati, were nabbed in a special operation by the teams of AP forest and police forces. Police suspect that the workers have kept a big quantity of red sanders in a secret place and are trying to zero in on the dump. Meanwhile, protests have been continuing across Tamil Nadu over the Seshachalam encounter.
