Untimely rains lash TS destroying Mango, paddy crops, more rains likely

Hyderabad, April 12, 2015: Heavy untimely rains lashed several places in Telangana on Sunday inundating low lying areas and vulnerable roads in major towns and cities including Hyderabad. The untimely rains are the result of low pressure formed from Lakshadweep to Gujarat via Telangana. Reports said mango, paddy and other crops were destroyed in hundreds of acres. Weatherman has predicted more rains in the next two to three days and asked people to be cautious. Heavy rain has been lashing Hyderabad parts since early this morning making life difficult for people.
