Nayanatara reduces fee from Rs. 2 Cr to Rs. 50 lakh for Malayalam movie

Chennai, April 12, 2015: Actress Nayanatara, who has been topping the remuneration graph even after a two-year sabbatical, has shown utmost generosity towards a native Malayalam project and has drastically reduced her remuneration for acting in pair with Malayalam top star Mammootty. Reports said Nayanatara generally charges anything around Rs. 2 Cr as her remuneration to act in female lead role in any movie but when a Malayalam producer approached her for his project featuring super star Mammootty, she charged only Rs.50 lakh since the movie is being made in Malayalam. Such was her love and affection for her mother tongue. Stunningly, she was paid RS.2.5 Cr as remuneration for her role in producer-actor Udayanidhi-starred Tamil movie earlier, reports said. More surprising news , the reports said, is that she has demanded Rs.4 Cr for a 2-day shoot to act in a commercial for a top advertising agency. Producers are running after Nayanatara crazily notwithstanding her enhancing remuneration by Rs.30 lakh for each and every movie.
