Why did not MIM talk when cops and officials died, asked Venkaiah Naidu
Hyderabad, April 11: Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu today slammed All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen leaders for demanding a CBI probe into the killing of dreaded gangster Viqaryddin and his associates.
He questioned, "Why the MIM leaders did not say anything when policemen and other officials were killed by terrorists during the Suryapet shoot out?"
Venkaiah Naidu said it is said that these leaders were reacting only when terrorists were killed and not when innocent people were being shot dead.
The minister then clarified that the central government will not interfere in peace and security issues as they come under the state subject.
