What work do coolies have in forest: Minister Venkaiah
New Delhi, April 7: Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu today asked as to what work do coolies have in the Seshachalam forests of Chittoor district. Reacting to the Seshachalam forest encounter incident, the minister said, "Don't the coolies know that cutting down red sanders trees is a crime? Do they go for work without knowing what kind of a job it is?" He then went on to say that it si improper of the coolies to assist the smugglers. He then said an inquiry has been ordered into the incident and the truth will come out after the probe is completed.
