Tollywood Producer Condemns IndiGo’s Handling of Delays
Prominent Tollywood producer and distributor Srinivas Kumar Naidu, known as SKN, has strongly expressed his dissatisfaction with the conduct of leading airline IndiGo. While acknowledging that occasional flight delays are natural, Srinivas Kumar Naidu asserted that misleading passengers with inaccurate information is unacceptable.
Detailing the incident, Srinivas Kumar Naidu stated that although passengers were informed the flight would depart “on time,” they were boarded and then made to remain inside the aircraft on the runway for several hours. He described this experience as “outrageous.” “We understand that flight schedules can sometimes be delayed. But stating the flight is 'on time' and then keeping passengers inside the aircraft on the runway for hours is simply not right,” he said.
As a corrective measure, Srinivas Kumar Naidu suggested that if a flight is genuinely delayed, the airline should clearly inform passengers and delay boarding accordingly.
Echoing his sentiments, several netizens also supported Srinivas Kumar Naidu’s views, urging IndiGo's management to respect passengers' time and comfort, and to take appropriate action to prevent such incidents from recurring. They noted that frequent flyers often encounter such situations, and called for greater accountability from airlines in such matters.
