Indian Forces Capture Pakistani F-16 Pilot After Pathankot Clash

Tensions have escalated along the India-Pakistan border as Indian armed forces effectively repelled multiple aggressive maneuvers by Pakistan. In a significant development, Indian forces successfully brought down two Pakistani fighter jets in the Pathankot sector, one of which was an F-16 combat aircraft. The pilot of the F-16 was taken into custody by Indian forces.

This confrontation follows India's launch of Operation Sindoor, a military response aimed at retaliating against the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The operation, according to sources, inflicted severe damage on Pakistan. However, despite the blow, Pakistan allegedly continued its hostile intentions and initiated further attacks on Indian soil.

According to the Ministry of Defence, Pakistan made fresh attempts to target military bases located in Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur. As part of this offensive, Pakistan launched eight missiles, all of which were reportedly intercepted and neutralized by Indian forces.

The Defence Ministry confirmed that no casualties or property damage occurred as a result of the Pakistani attacks. The ministry emphasized that Indian forces responded efficiently and decisively to neutralize the threat. Additionally, the Indian air defense system effectively intercepted Pakistani drones over Jalandhar, further thwarting the intrusion attempts.
