Indian Navy Launches Retaliatory Operations in Arabian Sea

In response to provocative actions by Pakistan, the Indian Navy launched retaliatory operations in the Arabian Sea. According to credible sources, these operations were initiated in the early hours of Friday and targeted multiple objectives linked to Pakistan. This development follows failed attempts by Pakistan to carry out missile and drone attacks in regions including Jammu and Kashmir and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan.

On Thursday, Pakistan fired missiles at several areas including Jammu city, RS Pura, Arnia, Samba, and Hiranagar in Jammu and Kashmir. However, India’s air defense systems successfully intercepted and neutralized all the incoming missiles. Reports also indicated that shelling occurred in Pathankot and that drones were shot down in Jaisalmer. As a precautionary measure, power supply was suspended in several cities including Chandigarh, Mohali, and Srinagar.

“Pakistan attempted attacks using drones and missiles along the international border in Jammu and Kashmir, targeting military installations in Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur,” the Ministry of Defence stated on platform ‘X’. “In accordance with prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), we immediately neutralized these threats using kinetic and non-kinetic capabilities. No casualties or damage to property occurred,” the statement added. The ministry further affirmed, “India is fully prepared to safeguard its sovereignty and ensure the security of its citizens.”
