Former Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy has expressed his frustration with the behavior of CID (Criminal Investigation Department) officials. He raised questions about whether these officials were acting as CID officers or regional authorities. Somireddy criticized the way the CID has been conducting itself, particularly in regards to holding press conferences in various cities like Vijayawada, Hyderabad, and Delhi. He questioned why the CID was choosing to communicate through press conferences rather than presenting their case in court. Furthermore, Somireddy alleged that baseless accusations had been made against Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister. He reminded everyone that the CID had consulted CM Jagan Mohan Reddy five times before arresting Chandrababu Naidu. Somireddy posed the question of why Chandrababu Naidu was suddenly arrested without being given a chance to explain his side of the story.
