The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has voiced its strong disapproval of the arrest of N. Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, in connection with a corruption case. Daggubati Purandeswari, the president of the BJP's state unit, expressed her concerns on Saturday regarding the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu, who also happens to be her brother-in-law. She emphasized that the arrest was unreasonable, as it occurred without proper notice, without including his name in the First Information Report (FIR), without seeking an explanation, and without following due procedure.
