A powerful typhoon named Khanun is currently impacting South Korea. Coastal areas in the south are facing strong winds and heavy rain. In Jiaoje and Changwon cities, many homes have been damaged or destroyed, with roofs torn off and trees uprooted. The Yeongje district is facing significant flooding. Flood alerts have been issued for Ulsan, Pohang, and Gimcheon. The South Korean Ministry of Internal Security has not yet confirmed the number of casualties. Many residents affected by the typhoon have been evacuated to safer locations. As a precaution, schools and roads are temporarily closed. The storm is now heading towards Seoul and is expected to reach North Korea by tomorrow.
