In honor of the 100th birth anniversary of the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has created a special coin. President Draupadi Murmu will officially release this coin on the 28th of this month, following the instructions from the Union Finance Department. The central government has informed NTR's family about this special honor. Personal invitations to the release event have been sent to NTR's daughter, BJP AP President Daggubati Purandheswari, other family members, and well-wishers, as directed by Rashtrapati Bhavan. This coin won't be used for everyday transactions as it's a special commemorative piece for specific events. The Mint will sell it as a collector's item. In the past, cultural legends like M.S Subbulakshmi have been celebrated with such coins.
