The Central Home Ministry is taking serious notice after TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu's convoy was pelted with stones. Chandrababu Naidu, who has Z Plus category security, was on his way to Punganur when the incident occurred. The ministry has also asked for a report on the security of former Chief Minister and TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh during the Yuva Galam Padayatra. Reports indicate that the Central Home Ministry has sent a letter to the AP Secretary and State DGP about these incidents. Before this, TDP MP Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar had written to the Central Home Ministry about the security concerns for the TDP Chief and Party National General Secretary. In his letter, he criticized the state government led by CM Jagan, accusing it of failing to provide adequate security.
