Uttar Pradesh: On Wednesday, Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, inaugurated the high-speed train trial for the Agra Metro and announced that the metro service would commence by February 2024, as reported. Additionally, there were media reports stating that the Jama Masjid metro station had been renamed as Mankameshwar Mandir Station. During the event, the chief minister also conducted a review meeting with district officials at the circuit house premises. He expressed his immense pride, stating, "I am delighted to share that the high-speed trials of Agra Metro have commenced. The team has done an exceptional job, and we are looking forward to providing metro services to the people of Agra by February 2024."
