Unsatisfied with the CBI's handling of the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case, Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy has voiced his discontent. In an epistle directed to CBI Director Praveen Sood, Avinash Reddy implored for a comprehensive reevaluation of the investigation in this high-profile matter. Within the missive, Avinash Reddy made astonishing allegations against former investigating officer Ram Singh, censuring him for unilateral conduct during the probe. He underscored that the CBI's focus solely relied on the testimonies of two individuals, neglecting several pivotal facets of the case. Drawing from the two charge sheets filed by the CBI in the Viveka murder case, Avinash Reddy expressed reservations about the credibility of Dastagiri's statement, as he had become an approver in the case. He asserted that numerous uncertainties shrouded the evidence provided by Dastagiri and insisted on a thorough reassessment of the entire case.
