Minister K Taraka Rama Rao announced that the members of the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party would boycott Prime Minister Narendra Modi's forthcoming visit to Warangal. The decision was revealed by Minister KTR at a recent event, where he expressed his dissatisfaction with the Modi government's purported neglect of Telangana. He referred to PM Modi's recent inauguration of a railway coach factory in Gujarat, worth INR 20,000 crores. In contrast, KTR criticised the meagre INR 500 crores allocated for Warangal, viewing this disparity as a sign of the central government's disregard for Telangana. KTR, who also serves as the IT Minister for Telangana, voiced his discontent over the alleged minimal funds provided for the state's development. He claimed that such meagre financial support demonstrated the central government's lack of consideration for Telangana.
