Tirumala: In an unfortunate incident at the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, a mishap occurred when the offering box (hundi) toppled over at the main entrance. Consequently, the sealed hundi burst open, spilling the devotees' offerings onto the ground. The devotees who had presented their offerings with immense devotion were distressed to see them strewn on the ground. The incident occurred as the offering box was being moved from the temple to the counting hall. At the time, the hundi near the main gate fell over, causing the offerings to fall out. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) staff, however, responded promptly by fixing the hundi and carefully gathering the scattered offerings back into the trolley. They then took the collected offerings to the counting hall. The staff later retrieved any remaining fallen offerings and handed them over to the authorities. Devotees have voiced their concern over the carelessness of the staff, alleging that it was this negligence that led to the offerings
