Hyderabad: During the 2023 Ocean Race, Team JAJO experienced a spine-chilling moment when a group of whales surrounded their yacht in the Strait of Gibraltar. The killer whales circled the boat and rammed into it, causing concern for the crew. Despite the danger, the team swiftly took action by lowering the sails and banging on the hull to deter the orcas. Eventually, the whales moved on, allowing Team JAJO to continue their race. While their position temporarily dropped, they managed to regain momentum and secure second place by the end of the day. The resilient crew remains focused as the race heads into its final leg.
