Actress Kriti Sanon and director Om Raut visited Tirumala Venkateswara Temple on Wednesday morning as part of the promotional activities for their upcoming film "Adipurush." Directed by Om Raut, the film features Prabhas as Lord Rama's role and Kriti Sanon in the role of Sita Devi. They offered special prayers to the Lord Venkateswara Swamy and temple priests offered prayers and sacred silk clothes to them. However, a controversy erupted after director Om Raut bid farewell to Kriti by kissing her cheek in a friendly way outside the temple. Some netizens criticized the act, stating that it was inappropriate to engage in such behaviour on temple premises. On the other hand, the pre-release event of "Adipurush" has garnered immense popularity. The highly anticipated mythological drama is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on June 16th.
