Sunday, May 7, 2023: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate students took place across the country today, with authorities implementing stringent measures to ensure a secure examination environment. As per the guidelines, candidates were instructed not to bring items such as wallets, goggles, handbags, belts, caps, watches, bracelets, cameras, or metallic objects. Additionally, students were prohibited from wearing any form of jewelry, including rings, earrings, nose pins, chains, necklaces, pendants, badges, and brooches. Candidates were also required to remove shoes before entering the examination hall, with only slippers and low-heeled sandals (for girls) permitted. However, it appears that some students failed to carefully review these instructions, leading to difficulties and potential delays at examination centers.
