Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council member MLC Shaik Sabji has been apprehended by TTD vigilance officials for his involvement in bringing devotees to darshan at Tirumala with fake Aadhaar cards. The investigation revealed that 19 recommendation letters were issued in a month, and six individuals were charged Rs 1 lakh. The complaint was filed by the devotees, leading to Sabji's detention. A case has been registered against Sabji at the Tirumala 1st town police station based on TTD vigilance officials' complaint. Further details regarding the case are yet to be disclosed.
